Nolan Cromwell Aggie Offensive Coordinator

Things are shaping up pretty well in Aggieland. Last week, Nolan Cromwell was named offensive coordinator. He is a veteran NFL assistant coach and (even cooler) a former All-Pro defensive back.

Nolan has been to three superbowls. That’s cool as well.

You can read more about it here.

Question is: Is this guy going to call the plays, or will Sherman? My best is on the Shermanator.

Aggie Coach Sherman Has Class

I thought it was cool that Mike Sherman declined an offer from ESPN to do a phone interview during the game (according to A&M spokesman Alan Cannon). Apparently, Sherman wanted the focus to be solely on the current team.

I thought that defensive coordinator Gary Darnell did a great job given the circumstances.

Understanding that the team is what’s important is Good Bull.

Jorvorskie Lane Returning for Senior Year

Texas Aggie Football Image

This is not really a Texas Aggie Football Website (there are plenty of those). However, I am totally excited about reports that Jorvorskie Lane will be returning for his senior year. Whoop!

You gotta love any running back with a nickname that includes the word “train” and who gives you 44 touchdowns in 3 years. What we should love more is Lane’s quote:

“I thought about (leaving) but my degree is too important to me.”

Finishing your degree is Good Bull! Way to go Jorvorskie Lane.

Aggie Band Beats t.u. on ESPN/ABC

Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Fightin' Texas Aggie Band at Texas Game

I’m inclined to agree. Behold the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band beatin’ the ever livin’, ever lovin’…well, you get the idea. This picture was sent to me by email, so I am not sure about the source.
